This is a recipe for vegetable palya and can be served with chapathi, roti or Tomato Rasam( what we call Saaru)
1. Cut the vegetables into pieces. Pressure cook it till it cooks.
2. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds to check if it is hot enough to proceed.
3. When the mustard seeds splutters, add chana dal and urad dal.
Leave for few seconds till it turns little brown.4. Add red chili, green chilies and curry leaves.
5. Mix the boiled vegetables and put salt to your taste.
Add tamarind paste to your paste. Garnish with freshly grated coconut.
And palya is ready.
