Corn Capsicum Masala





Ingredients :
Corn kernels - 200 gms (we used frozen)
Medium sized capsicum - 1-2, cut into1cm cubes
Onions - 1 big sized, finely chopped
Tomatoes - 2, finely chopped
Coriander leaves - 1/4 cup, finely chopped
Oil - 3-4 tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Red chilli powder - 2 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 1/2 tbsp
Cumin powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder - 2 tsp
Cream - 1/4 cup or less
Salt to taste

Method :
1. Boil corn in plenty of water till done. Drain and set aside.
2. Heat oil in a kadai. Add cumin and let crackle. Add the onions and fry till golden brown.
3. Add the ginger-garlic paste and saute for 2 mins. Add the chilli powder, coriander and cumin powder,
    turmeric. Mix and add the tomatoes and saute till oil separates, stirring constantly.
4. Add water, mix and cook for 1 min. Add the capsicum and mix. Add boiled corn, garam masala and salt.
    Mix and cook over low flame for 5 mins.
5. Remove from gas and stir in cream and mix. Garnish with corinader leaves. Serve hot.
