Chole




To prepare chole ingredients required are:

Chickpeas or Garbanzo - 2 cups
Onion finely chopped
3-4 Tomatoes
Cumin seeds/Jeera
Dhania powder
Jeera posder
Red chilies finely chopped
ginger garlic paste - to taste
Red chili powder
Turmeric powder
Oil 4-5 tea spoons
Salt to taste
Chana masala powder - MTR
Lemon juice

To prepare:
Soak Garbanzo over night and pressure cook it sufficiently(It should not be cooked too much)
Prepare tomato puree and keep it aside.
Heat oil in a pan, add Jeera or cumin seeds once the oil is hot enough.
Add onions and ginger garlic paste. Fry till oil turns golden brown.
Put tomato puree and cook for 3-4 minutes till the tomato loses it's rawness.
Add red chili powder, Dhania powder, Cumin powder, Turmeric powder and salt to taste.
Mix well and add Chickpeas/Garbanzo.
Finally add 2-3 tea spoons of Chana masala powder and mix well.
Squeeze lemon juice at the end. 
Garnish with finely cut coriander leaves while serving.
