Avalakki chuda




Ingredients: Poha Super Thin( in Kannada), 2-3 tea spoons of oil, mustard seeds, turmeric powder, Bengal gram, black gram(urad dal), dry roasted peanuts, Dalia (hurigadale), green chili, red chili, pieces of dry coconut and salt to taste.

Procedure:

1. Roast poha till it becomes crispy. Or microwave it for around 2 minutes till it becomes crispy.
2. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seed. When it starts spluttering, add bengal gram, black gram. Fry till it becomes golden brown.
3. Now add red chili, green chili and dry roasted peanuts, Dalia and dried coconut pieces.
4. Fry constantly till the peanuts and Dalia becomes crisp. Add salt.
5. Put the fried crispy poha and mix it thoroughly.
