Dal Tadka




All it needs is:

Moong Dal
Turmeric powder
Onion(1/2) finely chopped
Green chilies
Ginger Garlic Paste about 1/2 tea spoon
Garam Masala about 1/2 tea spoon(you can add more)
Salt
Lime Juice
Tomatoes finely chopped around 2
Coriander leaves(optional) finely chopped

For Tadka:

2 spoon Ghee,
Mustard and cumin seeds
A pinch of Hing

How to do:

Pressure cook Moong Dal and Turmeric powder with some amount of water.
Heat Ghee in a separate pan and add mustard seeds. When it splutters, add Cumin seeds, Ginger Garlic paste, Green Chilies and chopped onion and saute till onion turns golden brown.
When it is cooked add tomatoes and saute till they get cooked and then add some Garam Masala.
After the toamtoes are cooked, add Moon dal(cooked) and some water(how much ever you desire) and salt to taste.
