Beetroot Paratha







Ingredients :
3 cups wheat flour
1 medium sized beetroot
1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
2 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp jeera powder
a pinch of hing
2-3 green chillies
2-3 flakes garlic (peel)
2 tbsp besan (we did not add this)
salt to taste

Method :
1. Peel beetroot and then grate them.
2. Grind together coarsely green chillies and garlic without adding water.
3. Mix together all the ingredients adding enough water to make a dough (as you do for chapathis)
4. Make small balls from the dough  and roll out each ball into a circle. Cook the parathas both sides on a   
    hot tava smeared with ghee. It is ready when both the sides are brown.
